It’s almost-almost-almost spring, which means it’s time to make plant markers.
So many clever people out there!
Some very creative ideas for garden markers
- summer dreaming (via desire to inspire - Seth Smoot)
I’m already feeling very excited about this year’s show of Snakeshead Fritillaries (Fritillaria meleagris). Every spring, the entire area of my college’s Water Meadow is carpeted with these most exquisite flowers. Along with many species of old grassland, this plant has suffered a dramatic decline over the past two centuries, but its unique allure- coupled with changing attitudes towards grassland conservation- will no doubt see it protected in meadows and gardens for years to come.
pent the morning absolutely loving and inspired by the photography of Alpha Smoot. Check out her amazing work at alphasmoot.com
